Maila's Present is an e-Commerce personalised children's book store, named after Maila Angela Viana Morais who was stillborn in 2022. We sell books aimed at comforting parents and families who have experienced infant or baby losses (at any gestational period), by immortalising their children in fun, heartfelt stories that can be passed on generationally.
Our books are lovingly written and illustrated. They will include the babies names and likeness through an avatar character, creating a cherished keepsake that keeps their memory alive within the family.
In addition to our selection of personalised books, we offer gift cards perfect for any occasion, including festive periods, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and birthdays. For birthdays, we go a step further by offering a free annual postage subscription, providing families with a gentle reminder that their baby is also remembered by others. The artwork featured on these gift cards is created by our family on Maila's birthday each year, adding a personal touch to every card.
As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our directory to include hundreds of books, ensuring that every family finds a story that resonates with their journey of love and loss.
